Our editorial approach
Open Mindful Living aims to make thoughtful, grounded reading about attention and ordinary life. We distinguish explanation from opinion, avoid promises that a small practice will work the same way for everyone, and take responsibility for correcting the record.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable sources before publication and write with care about what is known, uncertain, or a matter of interpretation. We do not imply that a personal suggestion is a proven outcome. Where context matters, we make that context clear and revise wording that could mislead.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a commercial relationship. Any paid, gifted, or partner material is clearly identified as such where it appears. A partnership does not buy a favourable editorial view, and partner placements are kept distinct from independent editorial recommendations.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, unclear wording, or a missing qualification, please write through the Contact page and identify the article and passage. We review specific concerns and correct substantive errors; when a correction changes the meaning of an article, we make the change clear to readers.
Illustrations and tools
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. We label AI-generated illustrations where they appear and do not present them as documentary photographs. Images and tools are selected to support the subject, not to stand in for evidence.
Attention belongs in ordinary life
Mindfulness need not be another achievement. We look for small, flexible ways to notice what is already here.
